Overview

 

STD218 is a high-performance subwoofer for ground-stacked applications. Featuring a bandpass horn enclosure and dual long-excursion 18" neodymium drivers, it delivers exceptional low-frequency output down to 35Hz with a peak SPL of 140dB. Perfect for large-scale sound reinforcement, STD218 integrates seamlessly with other systems in INFRA mode to extend frequency response. When arranged in cardioid arrays using multiples of three, it achieves precise low-frequency control while minimizing rearward sound radiation.

A rigid metal grille backed by acoustic foam provides front protection. The enclosure, crafted from multi-layer plywood with a durable finish, ensures robustness.
